PERSONAL HISTORY

Kayla is a West Virginia native, but moved to the Nashville area over 2 years ago. She is passionate about early intervention, specifically with infants and young children struggling with oral motor functioning, feeding ability, and language development. She is currently pursuing an additional certification in lactation to further support the families she serves. When asked about joining Looking Ahead’s team she said, “I am excited to work with such an amazing group of therapists and to have daily opportunities for collaboration with other professionals to help each child meet their goals and excel in all aspects of daily life.” She spends her free time curled up with her dog and a good book, out and about with friends, or traveling home to visit family. She loves to bake and will never turn down a sweet treat.
